Sagola has recently celebrated the National Sales
Meeting. It took place on June 21 and 22
in Madrid; the whole sales team in
Spain and Portugal attend the meeting together with the management team.
The main goal of the event was to assess the results of this first part of the
year and to share the commercial strategy that allows the growth of these
markets in the second semester.
It is always a pleasure for Sagola to welcome visits in
our facilities, but it is even more pleasant when visitors come from as far
away as Russia and South Africa.
At the beginning of June came from Russia, Valentín Druzhinin, a famous blogger interested in Sagola
as a spray gun manufacturer for bodywork applications and painting equipment
for industrial applications. Sagola technical team prepared a complete
training for him.
Last June 19, we received the visit from Ron Thomas of Applied Coating Technologies
SA, distributor of the Sagola range for industrial painting in South Africa.
An excellent chance to meet Sagola team and for a tour through manufacturing
and warehouse facilities.
We are very happy to have welcomed this month the visit of the Belgian
team of Imbema, Sagola exclusive importer for the Netherlands.
The beginning of
the visit took place in Sagola manufacturing facilities and warehouse and then
they continued in the training center with a presentation of the range of
products for refinishing.

Héctor Amado, Head of the Product Technical Department, visited at the
beginning of June the facilities of our importer in Italy, Roberlo Abrastuk, to provide a training activity about Sagola
products.
During these days, the
training was very specific, focus on Sagola
compressed air filtering systems and on the new Air Quality Test, which
offers a quick and effective diagnosis of the air compressed quality.
They
were a very intense and productive days for technical and sales staff of
Roberlo Abrastuk.
At the beginning of the year, Sagola Product Technical Department
visited the paint manufacturer Novol facilities in Poznan (Poland) in order
test their new products with Sagola last spray guns.
Novol was founded
in 1978 as a manufacturer of products for painting and nowadays they have a
wide range of products for any application of professional refinishing. Among
others, the test was made with Novol innovative waterborne basecoat Spectral
Wave.
As a result of
those days and the technical cooperation between both companies, we have developed an application guide,
already available on our website, with the most appropriate configurations to
apply the Novol product range with Sagola spray guns.
Thus, it is the
beginning of a technical alliance between two leading companies in the Refinish
sector and that, surely, will bring benefits to both parties.
From 22 to 24 of June it was held in Madrid, in the
Ifema, the seventh edition of Mulafest, Festival of Urban Trends that brings
together fans of tattooing, motorcycles, urban art and music.
During the festival the Xtech range of professional airbrushes, the 475 an the Mini Xtreme spray
guns together with the limited edition 4600 Scrambler were available in the
most creative area of the Mulafest Garage, where renown national artist
such as Gustavo Cilleros from Air Custom Paint, Ruben Pérez from Buba Custom
Paint, Harrie Sullivan and Julian Sanchez, among others painted live on
helmets, hoods, tanks and canvases offering a great show of airbrushing and custom.
A weekend in which Professor Pedro Urda presented his new
book “Franjeados, rotulados y
aerografiados” of Paraninfo Editorial and
provided the Masterclass “Las
técnicas de aplicación de la colorimetría en la customización de vehículos”
intended for students who could perform aerography practices on vehicle
elements.
Sagola international department keeps their busy
schedule of visits, however,
among all the intensive workdays, long trips and endless wait at the airports, they also find little moments to have a
good time with the distributors and their families. Asier, commercial manager of America enjoyed last Peru-Sweden football
match with Maklian and Rene Lavado from Industrial Comercial Santa Adelaida,
Sagola distributor in Peru. Thanks

This month, Asier, the America Area Manager of Sagola, has
visited the great Colombian airbrush artist Rafael Fonseca. It does not
matter if the support is a deposit, a guitar or a canvas, after many hours of
work, it always surprises with a wonderful work. Asier enjoyed the visit to Rafa Fonseca´s workshop and his airbrush
school where he could see the brilliant portraits of artists and spectacular
images of animals created with the Sagola Xtech range of airbrushes. Many
thanks to Rafa for his warm welcome to Asier and for the confidence placed in
Sagola.
